Take 1-35W North or South to the Highway 36/Cleveland Avenue Exit.
Take southbound Cleveland Avenue to Buford Avenue.
Turn LEFT onto Buford Avenue and follow it to Gortner Avenue.
Turn RIGHT onto Gortner and follow it South.
The Gortner Avenue Ramp will be on your right.
The library is located north of the ramp, to the LEFT of the Vocational and Technical Education Building. Follow the diagonal sidewalk on the north edge of the lot to the library entrance.

From I-94 / Hwy 280

Take I-94 East or West to Highway 280.
Take 280 North to Larpenteur Avenue.
Turn RIGHT onto Larpenteur and follow it to Cleveland Avenue.
Turn RIGHT onto Cleveland and follow it to Buford Avenue.
Turn LEFT onto Buford and follow it to Gortner Avenue.
Turn RIGHT onto Gortner and follow it South. The Gortner Avenue Ramp will be on your right.

From the Minneapolis Campus

Take S.E. Washington Avenue east toward Saint Paul. It will take you through the East Bank and will merge with University Avenue.
Turn RIGHT onto University Avenue and follow it to Raymond Avenue.
Turn LEFT onto Raymond and follow it to where it becomes Cleveland Avenue.
Follow Cleveland Avenue to Commonwealth Avenue and turn RIGHT onto Commonwealth.
Follow Commonwealth about 3 blocks to Gortner Avenue and turn LEFT onto Gortner.
Go north on Gortner to the Gortner Avenue Ramp, which will be on your left.
